Last month, Emma Stone was asked one of the biggest questions of her life - Will you go to prom with me?
Jacob Staudenmaier recreated the opening scene to La La Land, in a bid to win over Emma's heart and take her to his high school prom.

She responded with a lovely letter to Jacob, which he read out on Good Morning America.
Jacob managed to bag himself a date for the evening, after Emma politely declined. As a way of sending her well wishes, Emma reportedly sent a handwritten letter and corsage to Jason and his date.
