People have lashed out at Limerick GAA after it announced a holiday fundraiser for the All Ireland winning senior hurling team.

The new training jersey features the names of all sponsors as part of the campaign to fund the holiday.
For €100 (reduced from €150) a fan receives the new training jersey, a club beanie and a letter from manager John Kiely and Captain Declan Hannon.
The campaign has been described as "embarrassing" and "a joke" as the cost of living continues to climb.

Limerick GAA has this afternoon released a statement, saying the holiday is "reward" for the hard work put in by Mr. Kiely and his team over the past three years.
"Players, Management and Backroom teams sacrifice hours of their lives each week in the effort to secure the most coveted medal in the GAA."
Limerick GAA says the County Board will be "solely responsible" for paying the cost of the holiday, but the shirt was launched in an effort to offset rising costs for international travel.
It says it was "cognizant" of the current economic situation when the product was launched, and tried to keep the cost "as reasonable base as possible."
The original price was €150, but Limerick GAA says the feedback from "loyal supporters" has been listened to, and the shirt now costs €100.
Those who have already purchased at the original price will be refunded the difference and we will be in touch with them in the coming days.
