Last night's lotto jackpot of €12.7 million is the highest amount given away in almost four years.
A lucky player in Kilkenny scooped the prize thanks to a quick pick ticket which had the winning numbers of 4, 14, 20, 23, 27, 37 and bonus 39
The shop that sold the ticket will be revealed over the coming days.
Fran Whearty, of the National Lottery, says they still haven't heard from the winner:
"So we're appealing to all Lotto players in Kilkenny to check their tickets."

Winners tend to share some of their prize with family members.
Two players in Cavan and Dublin were one number short of sharing the jackpot.
However they'll take comfort in prizes of €416,263 each.
The lotto plus 2 top prize of €250,000 was also won by a player in Portlaoise.
