Dutch start-up to set up e-scooter operations in Ireland
One of Europe's largest e-scooter companies is planning to launch in cities across Ireland.
Dutch start-up Dott operates 30,000 e-scooters across 16 European cities, including Munich, Brussels and Rome.
Following new legislation, in Ireland, the company says it intends to roll-out its products in Dublin and other cities.
CEO and Co-Founder, Henri Moissinac, says Ireland is the ideal location for their expansion:
"Our e-scooters make it easier to get around, reduce pollution and provide a great complementary service to public transport.
"We are really happy to see that the Irish government is moving ahead with its plans to regulate the use of e-scooters on Irish roads," he added.
