Dublin will not host games at Euro 2020 in June.
Three group stage matches and one last-16 tie were due to be played in the city this summer.
But UEFA says the government hasn't been able to guarantee that stadiums would be more than a quarter full.
The games will now be played at Wembley in London and St Petersburg in Russia instead.
