NPHET has reported 420 new cases of Covid 19 and 11 more patients have died.
147 new infections are in Dublin, 41 in Meath, 33 in Donegal, 26 in Galway.
Meanwhile, 18 are in Limerick and the remaining 155 cases are spread across all other counties.
190 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, 53 of those are in ICU.

50,000 Have Registered For Vaccines
Meanwhile the Taoiseach says it is hugely encouraging to see so many people now so close to their first Covid vaccine dose.
More than 50,000 people over 60 have signed up for a vaccine since an online portal went live yesterday.
68 year olds can sign up today.
Age Action Ireland says the relief among people who’ve received the Covid-19 vaccine is "palpable."
It comes as the HSE reports that over 20% of people who can receive the vaccine have been administered their first jab.
Head of Communications at Age Action Celine Clarke says some older people feel safer since receiving the vaccine:
"People feel like the fear that they've been living under for so long has somewhat been alleviated."
"They feel a certain level of safety now with the progress in the vaccination progress."
