There are 401 new cases of Covid-19 and 15 additional deaths.
182 of the cases are in Dublin, with 40 in Kildare, 31 in Donegal, 23 in Limerick.
While there's 22 in Cork and the remaining 103 cases are spread across 17 other counties.
Only two of the deaths reported today took place this month.
There are 182 Covid patients in hospital and 47 are in intensive care.

Covid 19 Community Prevalence "Stubbornly High"
Dr Martin Daly is a former president of the Irish Medical Organisation.
He says the case numbers remain concerning.
"The community prevalence is stubbornly high but that was predictable."
"In fairness to our experts, they predicted that community prevalence remain difficult to suppress."
"That's why we have to avoid complacency, even though we're on the home straight, in terms of the vaccination rollout and hopefully the end of this pandemic."
