There are 473 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic, and 34 deaths.
Only three of the deaths took place this month.
So the others happened in January, February and March.
229 of the cases are in Dublin, with 32 in Kildare, 21 in Mayo, 19 in Meath and 30 in Donegal.
The rest (142 cases) are spread across 19 other counties.
212 Covid patients are currently in hospital.
While 53 are in ICU.

Covid 19 Mandatory Hotel Quarantine Meeting
Elsewhere, a special cabinet meeting is taking place this evening.
That's to sign off on adding new countries to the mandatory hotel quarantine list.
Passengers arriving from 58 states currently have to spend two weeks in a designated hotel at their own cost.
But the government is considering adding EU countries like Germany, Italy and France to the list.
That's on foot of medical advice.
Transport Minister Eamon Ryan says countries will come on and off the list on an ongoing basis:
For example, the numbers are dropping "significantly," in Israel, he says.
"This virus keeps changing and we have to be adaptable to that."
