Weekends like this are a big test for us all in our ongoing battle with #Covid19 as we go about safely enjoying the good weather & time with others outdoors. If we get these things right, it builds confidence for all of us & makes it easier to keep moving forward. Have a good day

Coronavirus: Figures Heading In The Right Direction
Meanwhile, HSE figures show there are 36 patients in intensive care units with COVID-19.
It's reduction of six people compared to yesterday's figure of 42.

"We Haven't Seen Any Surge"
Professor Mary Horgan from Cork University Hospital says there hasn't been a surge yet.
"We haven't seen any surge, unfortunately we have seen more deaths."
"Thankfully the death rate has continued to be very low."
"So we haven't seen any surge, we would have anticipated that two weeks into the, all be it, mild lifting of restrictions."
