There have been no new coronavirus deaths reported in the Republic.
However, there have been 18 new confirmed cases of the virus as of midnight last night.
The latest figures from the Department of Health bring the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 25,527.
Also, the number of deaths remains at 1,741.

As of 8am this morning, a total of 22 confirmed COVID-19 cases were being treated in hospital.
11 patients were being treated in the country's intensive care units as of last night, including seven patients on ventilators.
