The fight that many thought wouldn't happen, is actually going to happen.
Both Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have confirmed they will go toe-to-toe in a boxing match, ending speculation over the long-running saga.
They both took to Twitter last night to confirm the news, with McGregor posting a picture of Mayweather's dad Floyd Snr, having a pop at his rival's age:

The pair have been squabbling over the deal for close to a year, and that intensified after McGregor's win over Eddie Alvarez to become the first simultaneous two-weight champion in UFC history.
The fight, which is said to be worth over $100million, will take place on the 26th of August at the T-Mobile Arena.
