Organisers of a Christmas truck to collect gifts for the homeless say it’s nearly full.
Inner City Helping Homeless is doing their annual collection in Mountjoy Square in Dublin all day.

People and businesses have been turning up since 7am this morning to donate gifts and selection boxes on Mountjoy Square
In the last couple of years, the appeal has filled a Luas tram outside Connolly station and it’s been changed to a truck this year.

Inner City Helping Homeless is aiming to collect around 20 thousand presents for people living in emergency accommodation and direct provision.
At the moment, the truck on Mountjoy Square is half-full, with donations being accepted until 7 o clock this evening.
