Experts are calling for a reform of miscarriage care across the globe.
A new report was published today in the Lancet Medical Journal.
It recommends improved diagnosis, treatment and counselling services.
Little Info On Why Miscarriage Happened
The authors found that many women experience unsympathetic health staff.
While some were given very little information as to how the miscarriage happened.
Broadcaster Rebecca Horan lost four pregnancies in just 12 months.
She says some doctors were more sensitive than others:
"The stand-in GP just said, you're losing this pregnancy."
"So you can go and get a D&C in hospital or deal with this yourself at home."

Many Women Don't Seek Help Early On
The Association for Improvements in Maternity Services says most losses happen in the first 12 weeks.
However it add that many women don't seek help unless they are further along.
Chairperson Kyrisa Lynch says the psychological impact of loss is similar at any stage:
"The impact of the loss and the impact of grief is similar whether someone's had a loss at 6 weeks, or 20 weeks."
Recommends Increased Care For Recurrent Losses
The report recommends a minimum global service.
Including testing, treatment, counselling and psychological support.
With increasing care for recurrent miscarriages.
