Anti LGBTQ tweet
Politicians, actors and sports people are condemning a Catholic Bishop's post about LGBTQ Pride events.
Bishop Thomas Tobin of Providence, Rhode Island in the US urged Catholics not to support or attend Pride Month events in a Twitter post yesterday.
He said they are contrary to the faith and are especially harmful for children.
Ministers Charlie Flanagan, Josepha Madigan and Regina Doherty are among those calling it 'disgraceful' and 'disappointing'.
