A tweet by Barack Obama following the racist violence in Virginia at the weekend has become the most liked tweet of all time.
More than 3 million people have like the post, which quoted Nelson Mandela, after the far-right rally in which a woman was killed.
"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion..." pic.twitter.com/InZ58zkoAm

He didn't just leave it at that, however:
"People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love..."

"...For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." - Nelson Mandela

Meanwhile, his successor Donald Trump is coming under fire for his reaction to the violence in Charlottesville.
In a news conference last night, the US president appeared to defend the racist protesters he'd condemned the previous day
He also claimed neo-Nazis and white supremacists had been treated unfairly by the media.
