There's been another increase in the number of people who are homeless.
According to figures from the Department of Housing, 8,212 people were homeless in August, up from 8,132 in July.
2,189 children are registered as homeless across the country.
Dublin accounts for 70 per cent of the homeless population.
66 per cent of those who are homeless are male, 34 per cent are female.
