Eight people have been killed by a gunman in Indianapolis while several others have been injured.
126 mass shootings had already taken place in the US this year, before last night's shooting.

At around 11 o'clock last night Police received reports of a shooting.
It was at a FedEx facility close to Indianapolis International Airport.

8 Dead And 5 With Gunshot Wounds
When Police arrived at the scene they reported an active shooter incident.
8 people had been shot and killed.
While five others received gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital.
Two others were treated at the scene.

Alleged Shooter Turned The Weapon On Himself
The alleged shooter had taken his own life at the scene.
Police spokesperson Genae Cook says they're still piecing together what happened:
"Emotions are running very high here, we understand there are lots of moving parts."
"We ask for your patience as we gather the most accurate information."
More than 125 mass shootings have taken place in the US so far this year.
Last night's comes less than four weeks on from the deadliest incident of 2021.
