There are 503 new cases of Covid-19.
101 patients are in hospital with the virus, with 38 in intensive care.
No information on Covid-related deaths is available.
That's due to the effects of the cyber-attack on computer systems.
Here's the latest detailed update on the impact of the cyber attack for patients and health services.
Good to see that some of the systems, or parts of them, in the voluntary hospitals are expected to be back up and running later today. https://t.co/dFW2RLk6NM— Stephen Donnelly (@DonnellyStephen) May 19, 2021
Health Minister Warns Of Long Delays
Patients who need non-urgent care can expect to experience long delays, according to the Health Minister.
Emergency Departments are still very busy as a result of the cyber attack on the HSE.
Minister Stephen Donnelly says patients needing urgent care will have to be prioritised.
He's appealed for the public to consider injury units, GP Out of Hours and local pharmacies for assessment.
Updates on services affected are available on the HSE website.
