Mid West Groups Call On Employers:
Elsewhere, Public Health Mid West says the positive impact of Covid vaccines cannot be over-stated.
It has passed the 150,000 doses milestone this week.
Public Health Mid West says the three local vaccination centres, two in Clare and one in Limerick, can administer up to 31,000 vaccines a week.
It's also said that over 70 pharmacies have signed up to administer the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine to the over 50s.
Public Health Mid West has issued a joint appeal with the UL Hospitals Group.
It's asking employers to allow their staff time off to get their jab.
