Police in the US are investigating after a 21 year old Irish man was killed in a one punch attack in New York.
It's reported Danny McGee from Drumlish in Longford was assaulted by a man outside a bar in the Queens area of the city.
He had been living in New York for over a year and had recently celebrated his 21st, and police are trying to track down the suspect who fled the scene.
NBC says police responded to reports of an assault outside the Gaslight Bar at around 4.00am local time on Thursday morning.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's providing consular assistance to his family.
