More than 220 people are dead and dozens are missing after a tsunami hit part of Indonesia.
The wave was caused by a volcano, and swept away homes on the Sunda Strait.
Many of the victims had been attending a concert during a busy holiday weekend.
The Irish embassy in Indonesia says its not aware of Irish citizens affected by the tsunami from contacts to date, but they are following it closely with authorities.
If you have any concerns for Irish citizens in the affected region please contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on (01) 408 2000. https://t.co/lbEyJibGb8
