The number of Gardai has risen to just under 14,400.
It's after 102 new officers graduated from the Garda Training College in Templemore in Co Tipperary this afternoon.
The 64 men and 38 women took part in the first passing out ceremony since February 2020.
One of those graduates, Tom Campbell, used to work in the financial services sector.
Campbell said it is a real option for people not happy in their current job and that there is so many different job specifications within An Garda Síochána which are available to graduates.

The Garda Commissioner and the Justice Minister are attending the service for the 64 men and 38 women.
16 of those were born outside of the state, including natives from Lithuania, Saudi Arabia and Guatemala.
Graduate Aristides Lucau , who was born in Angola, says he first became interested in joining after watching videos on YouTube.
Lucau said that he hopes that he can use his various language skills on the force.
