According to reports today, Muse have been busy recording new music in London the past few days.
An Instagram account created by a fan is claiming that Matt Bellamy and Dom Howard told them that they were recording new musical material at Air Studios - the same place where they worked on their previous albums Drones and Absolution.
Another fan account shared the snaps and said that Muse have three new songs under their belt, and are claiming that one possess a much heavier sound than the other two.
It's no secret that Muse have been working on new material for quite some time. Matt has been sharing snaps on his Instagram account during the whole process.
Muse are confirmed to headline Reading & Leeds Festival in August. With this new material, does that mark them as strong contenders to headline Electric Picnic too?
We'll have to wait until Thursday to find out!
