Maneskin frontman Damiano David will release his debut solo album, 'Funny Little Fears’, on May 16.
The 26-year-old Italian won the Eurovision with his rock band in 2021 with ‘Zitti e buoni’.
In his first project where he goes it alone, the singer will release 14 tracks through which he faces his fears.
Damiano has described his latest body of work as a “manual” for dealing with things in life that scare him.
He said in a post on Instagram: “I’ve always been afraid of heights, that any moment the ground breaks apart under my feet and in one second, everything’s gone.
“I’ve been afraid of darkness, an immensity I don’t get to see or understand, that might take me if I don’t watch my steps.

“I’ve been afraid of myself, asking for too much, chasing something I didn’t even know if I really wanted.
“And honestly sometimes I’m still scared, but I wrote myself a manual. Hope u find it helpful too. I called it Funny Little Fears. With love – Damiano."
The collection includes the Labrinth-produced single, ‘Silverlines’, ‘Born With A Broken Heart’, and the most recent single, ‘Next Summer’.
The singer teased fans with a look at his album cover that features a close-up of his face and sketches of a broken heart, tears and a star etched across his cheeks.
Despite Damiano going solo, Maneskin have no intentions to call it quits and reassured fans there was more to come from the four-piece.
