SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo caught up with Grammy nominated girl group HAIM this week for a chat.
The three sisters talked about their Grammys nods, their parents, and collaborating with Taylor Swift.

Sarina asked Este how she felt when she found out they had received a Grammy nomination this year.
She replied, "Super surreal. I mean, my sisters and I, we slept through our first nomination."
"We didn't expect anything, hand on heart."

Alana chimed in, "I started drinking."
Este continued, "But then when we got nominated for Album Of The Year, it truly felt like I was on acid."

Later in the interview, the girls talk about their relationships with exes.
Este revealed she's still friends with her exes, but her sister Alana has nothing to do with hers.
She said, "I just am very into a don't text back an ex situation right now."

"They're out of your life, you don't need to be friends with them."
Sarina asked Este how her partner feels about her friendship with her exes.
She responds by saying she has a really confident partner, "who knows that I love him too much to ever do something dumb."

"My partner is also friends with one of my exes," the artist added.
The sisters went on to talk about their parents, and their reaction to their success.
"They're super supportive. All they've ever wanted for us was just to do something together that makes us happy."
Sarina wrapped up the interview by asking about their collaboration with Taylor Swift and Thundercat.
Este explained they've been friends with both artists for a long time.
And they felt it would really add to the album if they introduced another, "element."
