A same-sex kiss in Pixar's upcoming Lightyear movie was reportedly cut and later restored.
The decision came shortly after staff issued an angry letter to bosses following the company's response to Florida's, 'Don't Say Gay,' bill.
The decision to restore the kiss came shortly after LGBTQ employees and allies at the animation studios issued a joint statement to bosses.
As quoted by Collider, in one part of the letter, they made the allegation that, 'Nearly every moment of overtly gay affection is cut at Disney’s behest, regardless of when there is protest from both the creative teams and executive leadership at Pixar.'
The comments were made as part of a larger issue surrounding the company's response to Florida's, 'Don’t Say Gay,' bill.
While the letter never mentioned which Pixar films had been censored, we're guessing the new Buzz Lightyear movie could be added to the list.
According to Variety, Uzo Aduba's character Hawthorne is in a relationship with another woman in the film.

While their romance was never called into question, a same-sex kiss between the pair was reportedly chopped from the final edit.
However, shortly after staff issued their statement, the kiss was restored.
Some are hoping this is could be a massive turning point for LGBTQ+ representation in animated films.
Lightyear, which is the origin story of Buzz Lightyear, drops in cinemas June 17th.
