The science fantasy film directed is based on the series of novels of the same name written by Stephen King and stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey.
The film and books are based on a young adventure seeker who discovers clues about another dimension called Mid-World and joins a Gunslinger, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), on a quest to reach the "Dark Tower".
