The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder
Paramount+ have released the trailer for their live action reboot of The Fairly OddParents.
The original animated series premiered in 2001 and followed the story of a young boy named Timmy Turner.
Timmy is neglected by his parents and bullied by his babysitter.
However, his world takes a positive turn when he's granted two fairy godparents to fulfill his wishes.
In the new Paramount+ reboot, Timmy is all grown up, and is a student at Princeton, according to the branded t-shirt he's wearing in the trailer.
Oh, and he's a real life human being as opposed to a cartoon character.
Surprisingly, the focus of the new series isn't on Timmy, but rather his cousin Vivian and her new stepbrother Roy.
Viv and her father move to a town called Dimmsdale to be with Roy's mother.
Vivian struggles with the move, so her cousin Timmy sends his fairy godparents Wanda and Cosmo to help her adjust to her new life.
Fans will be happy to hear the original actors who voiced the godparents, Susanne Blakeslee and Daran Norris, are back for the series reboot.
