News broke yesterday that Love Island's 2018 winners, Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer had split up.
Dani shared a statement on her Instagram stories, she deleted it soon after.
Her statement read:
Jack & I have sadly decided to part ways. It's been an incredible 6 months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly we've come to the realisation that it's not meant to be long term. We both plan to stay friends. I hope you'll all understand. Love Dani.
The pair coupled up on day one in the Love Island Villa and went on to win the show together.
Since the show, the couple appeared on various shows, have collaborated with brands and moved in together even getting a puppy together.

Caroline Flack and Love Island contestants are making a comeback to our screens this Christmas for a Love Island Christmas special.
The Special was filmed during the week, as revealed by ex-Islander Alexandra
According to reports, we can expect lots of drama from the special. Sam Bird and Georgia Steel are set to reunite on set for the first time since Sam claimed Georgia cheated during their relationship.
Georgia sticks with her story and continues to deny the rumours. She then goes on to say she was miserable during her time with Sam. We all know she's LOYAL!
But the most awkward thing about the Christmas Special is that Jack and Dani are still loved up while filming the episode.
Love Island makers have dropped the teaser trailer for the Christmas Special.

Jack is yet to address the break-up, but tabloids are reporting it was Dani who initiated it and he's been left heartbroken.
The special is set to air on ITV 2 on Monday 17th December.
