This looks scary!
The first official trailer for Danny Boyle's newest zombie movie, 28 Years Later, has dropped.
The film is a terrifying new story from the 28 Days Later world starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams and Ralph Fiennes.
The synopsis reads: "It’s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, and now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected."
"One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway."
"When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well."
Towards the end of the trailer, we get a glimpse of a zombie that fans are convinced is Cillian Murphy.
The Irish actor starred in 28 Days Later as Jim, a bicycle courier who awoke from a coma to find an infection had spread throughout Britain turning ordinary people into aggressive 'zombies'
It was confirmed earlier this year that the 48-year-old would reprise his role as Jim, so die hard fans are speculating whether this is what happened to Jim after the events of 28 Days Later.
Guess we'll have to wait until the 20th of June to find out.
