The release date for Toy Story 4 has been revealed.
Disney’s D23 animation panel happened over the weekend and it was announced that the film would be released on June 21 2019.
It was also announced that John Lasseter has stepped down as director of “Toy Story 4,” leaving co-director Josh Cooley to take full reins.
Instead, Lasseter will stay on as executive producer while Cooley, who worked his way up the Pixar chain as an intern more than a decade ago, will take on the big job.
All we know so far about the plot is that the film will explore the love story between Woody and the newly-returned Bo Peep, as well as a deeper explanation for her noticeable absence in the third film.
