It's January so chances are you're taking it handy this weekend.

From The Hangover II to The Lego Movie, here's the best films on television over the next three days.

Friday

Shooter, TV3, 9pm

This action thriller starring Mark Wahlberg follows a former Marine sniper who's coaxed back into action to help prevent an assassination attempt on the US president.

Bridesmaids, 9pm, ITV2

If you haven't seen this classic comedy before, now is your chance. Starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and our own Chris O'Dowd it follows a bridal party as the maid of honour and a bridesmail clash (hilariously) over what's best for their friend.

Mr & Mrs Smith, 9pm, Comedy Central

Widely known as the film where Brad and Angelina first met, this action movie follows a married couple who learn they are both secret assassins hired by competing agencies to kill each other.

Saturday

The Lego Movie, 6:35pm, RTÉ One

One for the family on Saturday that features the familiar voices of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Morgan Freeman and Will Ferrell. An ordinary construction worker living in a city made of LEGO is mistakenly identified as a chosen one destined to save the universe. He's then recruited to stop an evil tyrant from fixing the world permanently in place. 

The Day After Tomorrow, 9:25pm, RTÉ2

Climate expert Jack Hall warns society that global warming will soon result in destructive weather. That crisis kicks in almost immediately as destructive earthquakes, storms, hurricanes and wildfires strike across the globe and Jack must race across America to rescue his son from New York.

The Hangover Part II, 9:35pm, TV3

The second installment in the franchise sees Phil, Stu and Alan reunite in Bangkok for another stag weekend, but they're hoping this one will be a little quieter and tamer than their last. Things, of course, don't go to plan though!

Blades of Glory, 11pm, TG4

This late film on Saturday is also one guaranteed to give you a laugh. A figure skater, played by Will Ferrell, and his arch enemy are banned from the sport after their rivalry erupts into a brawl. However, the pair try to put their differences aside to compete as the sport's first ever same sex pairing.

Sunday

Titanic, 7pm, E4

This needs no introduction. Fall in love with Kate and Leo all over again on Sunday night as this film tells the story of a young and privileged first-class girl who falls in love with a penniless artist aboard the luxurious but ill-fated Titanic ship.

The Perfect Storm, 9:30pm, RTÉ2

A fishing crew chooses to ignore severe weather warnings and brave the North Atlantic in search of the last catch of the season. However, the extreme weather means they're soon left fighting for their lives.

  

21 Jump Street, 9pm, Comedy Central

This 2012 comedy follows two undercover cops who're sent back to school to crack a high-school drug ring. Expect lots of laughs from this one which stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
