As reported by The Sun, show bosses originally wanted the finalists from each series to feature in the special.
However, they've made some exceptions, and this has caused a lot of anger and resentment.
A source said, 'Those involved are very excited, but it has put a few noses out of joint among stars who haven’t been asked, especially those who think they are bigger names than those who have.'
The insider revealed, 'Unfortunately things have got a bit nasty between some.'
According to the publication, Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson are just some of the names that will take part in the series.
They'll be joined by 2019 runners-up Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague.

Meanwhile, it's reported Arabella Chi and Hayley Hughes are just two of the names that have been left out.
A TV insider told The Sun, 'It’s just not possible to have everyone on in three episodes.'
'So unfortunately the reality is some people have had to miss out.'
'A few of them have kicked off a bit about it, but that’s just life.'
'They can squabble among themselves all they want,' the source finished.
ITV comment
A spokesman for ITV confirmed to The Sun that a reunion special is in the works:
'There have been many fantastic Islanders over the years.'
'This three-part series will feature some of them and will allow viewers to catch up with their lives since their time in the villa.'
A release date for the special hasn't been announced.
