Love Island is heading to Spain and Nigeria
It's been confirmed that Spanish and Nigerian versions of Love Island are being developed.
Broadcasting networks in both country's have acquired the format.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed the news with Metro this week.
Atresmedia have commissioned the dating show in Spain.
It will be produced by ITV Studios' partner Boomerang, as per Metro.
While Digital Play have picked up the format in Nigeria.
This isn't a massive surprise, considering there are versions of the hit show all over the world.
They have editions in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and the United States.
There are also versions in Poland, Romania, New Zealand, Hungary, Finland, France, Sweden and Australia.

Meanwhile, the UK version is due back next summer.
They had to cancel this year's series due to the global pandemic.
