Skeet Ulrich's final day
F.P. Jones actor Skeet Ulrich filmed his final Riverdale scene this week.
He paid tribute to the show and the amazing cast and crew in an emotional Instagram post.
Skeet shared a picture of himself in character as F.P. Jones, standing in the middle of a street.
He wrote, 'Goodbye Riverdale...'
'thank you for introducing me to some lifelong friendships and so many beautiful souls.'
He continued, 'Today is my last day on set but the experience will never leave my heart'
'Thank you to all of you for the love and support'
We're not crying, you're crying!
The cast and crew react
The Riverdale cast and crew took to the comments section to bid him farewell.
Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa wrote, 'Last day...for now! Thank you, Skeet, for everything.'
'Don’t be a stranger, in life, nor on the show.'
Roberto concluded, 'There will always be a hook for you to hang your Serpent jacket on in Riverdale.'
While Betty actress Lili Reinhart wrote, 'I’ll severely miss all the dad jokes'
She added in another comment, 'I can’t survive without the dad jokes'
Cheryl actress Madelaine Petsch commented, 'Noooooooo... I love you'
Hermione star Marisol Nichols, who's also leaving the show, wrote, 'Love you Skeet.'
'Can’t wait for the world to see you’re upcoming projects'
Wondering why Skeet is leaving Riverdale?
He explained on Instagram Live in May, "I'm leaving Riverdale because I got bored creatively."
