Salma Hayek will replace Thandiwe Newton in the upcoming Magic Mike movie.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson told Deadline Thandiwe had to step away from the project for personal reasons.

In a statement, they said:
'Thandiwe Newton has made the difficult decision to step away from the production of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Magic Mike’s Last Dance to deal with family matters.'

Channing Tatum delighted fans last November when he announced they were doing a third movie.
He shared a picture of the script, revealing the film is titled Magic Mike's Last Dance.

Original director Steven Soderbergh will return for the new movie.
Reid Carolin, who wrote the first two movies, is also back to pen the script for the third.
And Magic Mike XXL director Gregory Jacobs is producing alongside Carolin, Nick Wechsler and Peter Kiernan.

Rather than releasing in cinemas, the third installment will premiere on HBO Max.
However, a release date and plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
