Pitch Perfect is getting a spin-off
A Pitch Perfect spin-off for tv starring Adam Devine is in the works.
Adam will be back playing Bumper, who was the leader of The Treblemakers group in first two Pitch Perfect films.
The series will be set a few years after Bumper was last seen in the films.
When one of his songs will unexpectedly becomes a hit in Berlin, Bumper moves to Germany to revive his music career.
According to Peacock TV, the show will be released on the NBCUniversal streaming service in America.
Nobody knows yet what that means for Ireland or how we'll be able to see the series.
Adam won't be the only one returning to the series.
Elizabeth Banks will be back to executive produce the show.
She played the commentator Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the films and made her debut as a director with Pitch Perfect 2.
Maybe a cameo could be on the cards too?
As for the rest of the Pitch Perfect trilogy cast, nobody else has been linked to the series.
But seeing some of the cast only reunited a couple of weeks ago for a beach trip, we can hope their love for the franchise will have them excited to get involved.
When it comes to the show, we know nothing else about who will star in the series.
But the show should be hilarious seeing as Megan Amram, who worked on The Good Place, will be a writer and showrunner for the programme.
Let's hope they release it sooner rathe than later!
