Christmas came early for Dublin pedestrians today!

Hollywood superstar, Paul Rudd, was spotted outside the Dublin Tourism Information Centre this morning, filming his latest movie titled 'Power Ballad'.
F26XWC Paul Rudd at the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2015The new film is set to be a musical comedy, starring Rudd and Nick Jonas, created by by Irish film director John Carney.
Rudd is set to play a wedding singer in the uplifting music-driven story, who meets a rock star (Nick Jonas), and the film follows the song that comes between them.
Power Ballad is the latest in a string of acclaimed music-centred films from Carney – following the likes of Once, Begin Again, Sing Street, and, most recently, Flora and Son.
Carney, opened up about the project with Screen Ireland saying:
"I’m delighted to be working with so many great people. I’ve been working on this script with my buddy Peter for years, and now Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas are in my kitchen.”
The film currently has no set release date, but hopes are to see it in promotion by Winter 2025.
