The Normal People Irish Comic Relief two part special is set to air on RTÉ One tomorrow night.
Co-founder of the charity, Richard Curtis has said the piece will imagine what would have happened to Marianne and Connell 40 years on.

In a recent interview, as quoted by Goss.ie, Curtis revealed the Normal People special is called Normal Older People.
According to the outlet, he said it's, 'imagining what would have happened to Marianne and Connell 40 years from now.'
'I promise you, these are two very special bits.'

Curtis revealed, 'It’s so much better than anything we’ve ever made,' before teasing a special guest appearance.
'I mean I can’t even say all about it because there’s a guest star in it.'
'But it’s really, it’s really beautiful,' the screenwriter insisted.

The special will be hosted by Nicky Byrne, Eoghan McDermott, Deirdre O'Kane, Baz Ashmawy and Jennifer Zamparelli.
Some of the biggest stars including Saoirse Ronan, Dara Ó Briain, Andrew Scott and loads more will be taking part.
