Massive movie releases pushed back
The coronavirus has had a massive impact on the movie industry.
So many highly anticipated releases have been pushed back as a result.
Here's a list of the movie releases that have been postponed:
No Time to Die
The latest movie in the Bond franchise was due out on April 3rd.
However, earlier this month a tweet confirmed we won't see Daniel Craig's last outing as the secret service agent until November.
MGM, Universal and Bond producers came together to make the decision after, 'careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace.'
No Time to Die is due out 12th November instead.

A Quiet Place Part II
The official Twitter account for A Quiet Place Part II announced last night that the movie release has been postponed.
'After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions ton global travel and public gatherings, Paramount Pictures will be moving the worldwide release of A Quiet Place Part II.'

Director John Krasinksi released a statement of his own.
He wrote, 'One of the things I’m most proud of is that people have said our movie is one you have to see all together.'
'As insanely excited as we are for all of you to see this movie... I’m gonna wait to release the film till we CAN see it all together!'

Peter Rabbit 2
The sequel movie was due out March 27th but it's been pushed back to August 7th.
Sony made the announcement earlier this month.
Fast and Furious 9
The 9th installment in the franchise was due out in May 2020 however, it's been pushed back by a significant amount of time.
Fast and Furious 9 will now drop in cinemas on April 2nd 2021.
The official Twitter account for the franchise announced the news last night.
'It's become clear that it won't be possible for all our fans around the world to see the film this May.'
'While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration.'

Mulan
The release date for Disney's live action remake of Mulan has also been pushed back.
They announced the news on Twitter, 'Our hearts are with everyone the world over who is affected by this virus, and we hope that Mulan's fighting spirit will continue to inspire those who are working so hard to keep us all safe.'
The New Mutants
The release date for The New Mutants starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams and Charlie Heaton has also been postponed.
The movie was due out April 13th 2018 however, it's been postponed several times since.
Meanwhile, production on CW series Riverdale has been put on hold.
It's after a team member came in contact with a COVID-19 patient.
