The Winchesters
The CW have found their leads for the new Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters.
American Housewife's Meg Donnelly and The In Between's Drake Rodger have been cast as Sam and Dean's parents in the new show.
They'll play Mary Cambell and John Winchester.

According to Deadline, the new show is told from the perspective of narrator Dean Winchester, of course voiced by Jensen Ackles.
'The Winchesters is the epic, untold love story of how John met Mary and how they put it all on the line to not only save their love but the entire world.'

Donnelly will play a 19-year-old Mary Campbell.
She's been, 'fighting the forces of darkness since she was a child.'
And having experienced a heartbreaking loss, she considers quitting the family business.

She soon finds herself leading a new team following the disappearance of her father and the arrival of John Winchester.
But what's his story? Well, according to Deadline, '[He] recently returned from Vietnam,' and, 'finds a new mission back home, where traces of his father’s past lead him to a secret organisation and a whole new war as a hunter.'
