Marnie Simpson has confirmed that she has left Geordie Shore.
Back in January it was rumoured that the 26-year-old was cutting ties with the hit MTV show.
She has taken to Twitter to announce her departure, saying that it just 'wasn't the same'.
For everyone keep asking I have in fact permanently left Geordie shore, it was just time to move on, it just wasn’t the same without everyone who left and I made the decision to leave, it was a wild 5 years and I’m really thankful I got to do it!

We haven't seen the last of Marnie on telly though. She's set to appear on the new series of Ex on the Beach.
