Love Island's Marvin tells the truth

On last night's episode of Love Island: Aftersun, Marvin admits he never actually liked Maura.

They were coupled up in the villa before she had him dumped from the island.

Maura met Marvin during the show's Casa Amor shock twist.

She brought him back to the main villa after a re-coupling but things didn't go to plan.

The model didn't feel a spark so she called off their romance.

Speaking with Caroline Flack, Marvin says, "I mean she does change her mind a lot and she fancies anything that moves."

He adds, "Wait… and Curtis moves better than most, so you know."

As if that wasn't bad enough, he goes on to admit, "I didn’t really fancy her in the first place."

Caroline gasps in disbelief and quizzes him on his motives.

He denies he's a game player and back tracks, "She surprised me really."

The personal trainer goes on, "When we had a chat she blew me out of the water and then we kind of made it work off two conversations."

"Then we went into the villa and it was literally like hide and seek with her."

Game playing

Marvin's fellow Casa Amor islanders accused him of game playing in their exit interviews.

Dennon fancied Maura in the villa but he had some competition with Marvin.

He said, 'Everyone knows what I think – Marvin. I’m not sure he would be with her on the outside.'

While Dan, the unlucky in love bathroom salesman, also thinks Marvin is playing a game.

'He was doing whatever it takes. He doesn’t feel genuine towards Maura.'

Stevie also said, 'I think Marvin changed strategy half way through.'

'I didn’t think he liked Maura. I think he realised this was a way for him to get in.'

'He’s a lovely bloke but I definitely saw a change in direction.'

Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm.
