Love Island villa in quarantine
The Love Island villa in Cape Town has reportedly been put under quarantine.
It's after a large number of crew members have been hit with the vomiting bug.
'If the virus reaches the contestants then it could bring the show to a halt for three or four days.'
An insider from Cape Town has been speaking with The Sun.
They reveal medical experts are trying to find out where the virus came from.
Those who've caught it are being confined to their hotel rooms.
The source reveals, 'Everything is being done to quarantine the villa from the outside world so that bug doesn’t get in.'
'There was a similar crisis in season one so people know what to do.'
The food is being supplied to contestants and crew members by outside caterers.
The insider explains, 'If the virus reaches the contestants then it could bring the show to a halt for three or four days.'
'Nobody is going to watch them throwing up or having the s***s.'
Producers are apparently thinking of hiring locally until the crew recover.
