Between the prize on Love Island, brand deals, TV and Public appearances the Love Island contestants rack up the cash.
They're the latest deal isn't the best. Returning to our screens for a Love Island Christmas reunion show, it has been revealed that 19 of the Love Island Stars will be paid just £10 or €11.30 approx an hour over two days of shooting.
Love Island winners Jack & Danni will be on the Christmas special. The couple took home €60,000 in July.
Speaking to the Irish Sun, a source said:
They have been in an uproar over being paid so little for two days’ work. It almost isn’t worth hours of awkward conversation with your ex — which for many of the Islanders will be the case now. A few have even discussed dropping out to avoid any unnecessary aggravation. The low fees have also upset their agents, who are used to dealing with much bigger contracts.
According to reports, the pay will barely cover their travel and expenses in London.
However, it appears like the majority have still agreed to take part which will undoubtedly help to keep them relevant and in the public eye.
Caroline Flack is set to return for the festive special while our fave VO guy, Ian Stirling, will be back narrating.
Either way, we cannot wait.
