The return of Love Island for winter 2023
Love Island returns to our screens tonight as the winter series finally kicks off featuring Maya Jama as host for the first time.
ITV have just released first look images at episode one, and a brief explanation of what we can expect.
The series begins in epic style, as a helicopter circles over the villa with the pilot announcing over the tannoy: "Maya Jama on board."
The helicopter lands and Maya heads into the villa.
She says, "It’s a new year, in a brand new villa, it's a stunning location ready for some sexy singles looking for love, all we need now are some Islanders."
Greeting the boys, Maya says: "Hello boys, you alright, shall we have a little chat?"
The boys then line-up as they await the arrival of the girls.
But who will couple up with whom? Guess we'll have to just wait and see!
There are 10 contestants entering the villa on episode one, with a bombshell set to arrive at some point.
Love Island bosses have left it up to viewers to decide which bombshell should head in first - Business Development Executive Ellie or Semi-Pro Footballer Tom?
The bombshell with the highest number of votes will be chosen to enter the villa.
Love Island starts at 9pm tonight on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
