Well, who wouldn't? (Me. I wouldn't.)
Lindsay Lohan's new film Irish Wish is coming to Netflix this week, and she's started opening up about her experience here.
Even though Lindsay's grandfather is from Galway, she only visited the country for the first time to shoot the movie in 2022. She stayed in Dalkey, saying "the Guinness pies were amazing."
Filming took place in Westport Town and the Cliffs of Moher and it seems to have left a strong impression on Lindsay, as she called it "beautiful."

Speaking to RTÉ, she said, "I loved being in Ireland. It was beautiful to go there for the first time and it was beautiful to film there.
"I wish my grandfather was still with me so he could join us but it was just really nice. It felt really serene and peaceful and magical being there."
When asked if the Irish accent is sexy, she replied "Of course, yes! I think it's a great accent."

What is Irish Wish about?
We're thrilled to see Lindsay is back for her first film in two years.
She's playing Maddie, who is in love with her best friend's fiancé and puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland.
Days before the wedding, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, and the next morning she wakes up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.
Lindsay called it "a nice story of luck and love and confidence." She's said it was an exciting challenge for her as an actor as there's a lot of physical comedy.
It sounds like a classic noughties rom-com and we're totally here for it.
It'll be on Netflix from this Friday, March 15th.
