This is not the first time the girls star shared some Maura love
Lena Dunham has made it no secret that she's a Love Island fan and she seems to have a particular soft spot for Longford woman Maura Higgins. She shared a tweet a few weeks ago that got Love Island fans laughing.

She loves Maura's feisty side
In a recent interview with The Guardian Lena said she can't stop watching the show as she's spending the summer is Wales to film a new Drama series. She talked about the cultural impact of the show and also talked about some of her favourite contestants, when it came to Maura she had plenty to say.
Maura. What can I say about Maura. She’s fun. She’s feisty. She’s so Irish that the word “mouth” becomes a clipped battle cry: “Mout! He kissed me right on da mout!”
She mentioned, however, that as much as she loved Maura she can be very 'Rageful' and joked about the fact Maura went from supporting Amy Hart through her breakup with Curtis Pritchard to then making a move on Curtis right in front of Amy.
Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tomorrow night from 9pm.
