Speaking of the film Lee said: "This will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before. I'm digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening."
Lee is teaming up with filmmakers Jason Blum and James Wan's recently combined production companies, Blumhouse and Atomic Monster, for the project.
The horror will hit cinemas on the 17th of April 2026.
