Ireland’s Got Talent returns for a brand new series on Virgin Media One this Saturday night, 2nd February at 7.30pm.

Hosted by Lucy Kennedy, this year’s series sees an array of diverse performances,  including international acts turning up to try their luck on the Irish stage in front of our judges Denise Van Outen, Jason Byrne, Michelle Visage and Louis Walsh.

This week’s show sees plenty of talent but it’s not all rosy as tensions run high between Louis and Jason as the two bicker with Michelle and Denise trying to keep the peace.

So what can we expect from the first show?

Sea of Change, an all-female Dublin based choir is the brainchild of Dee Featherstone, who many in Ireland will recall as the organiser of the largest skinny dip in Ireland, gathering 2,504 women together on a beach in Co. Wicklow and smashing a Guinness World record. The choir, which is made up of cancer survivors and supporters deliver a poignant performance that is sure to resonate with everyone as the ladies bare all for our judges.

Donald Trumpet (72) is from Kerry and you guessed it, he’s a Donald Trump impersonator. Denise feels he sounds more Jamaican whilst Jason thinks he is from Tipperary…Will he sail through or is his act all fake news?

Sharyn Ward (33) is a proud Irish Traveller who is originally from Longford and now lives in Dublin with her husband and two children. Sharyn arrives with lots of support including her husband, her children and actor John Connors who is a neighbour. Sharyn says she was born singing and aims to stay true to herself. She hopes that her performance can be a positive one for people’s perception of the travelling community.

Dubliner Jake O’Shea (25) is an Irish dancer with a difference. A six times All Ireland winner, Jake is also the first Irish dancer to audition on Ireland’s Got Talent but prepare to witness our native moves as you’ve never seen them before. Michelle and Denise are thrilled to see a traditional dancer take to the stage but can Jake’s unique twist impress our judges enough to make it through to the next round?

Ireland’s Got Mór Talent will also return for a second series with TV presenter Glenda Gilson and social media star James Kavanagh bringing viewers all the backstage gossip, unseen auditions and exclusive chats with the judges.

Ireland’s Got Mór Talent will kick off on Saturday 2nd February and will air each week directly after the main show on Virgin Media One.

It’s time to book your spot on the sofa and prepare to witness talent at its very best.

Tune into Virgin Media One on Saturday, February 2nd at 7.30pm for Ireland’s Got Talent Series Two.

To say we're excited is an understatement!
